Holiday Operation Hours

Family time at Scraphaven

This is my last day open, till 12th October,

So come along and have some time making cards or pages of memories.

We have mums & kids, grandparents & kids and 

some of my students from the Kid's classes are coming along for an extra session as well.

Open this Tuesday, 24th September

10am to 10pm

$6 per Session, $12 for all 3

Session times ~ 10 to 2, 2 to 6 & 6 to 10

Vacancies left for afternoon and night time sessions only

Bring your own lunch / dinner or there are lots of eateries close by

A sandwich toaster is available

This is our last day of operation until Saturday, 12th October for Copic Workshops.

From 12th October we will be open every Tuesday for Scrap'n'Chat & Card classes -10am to 1.30pm

17/9 ~ TUESDAY ~ 10am to 12.30pm - Card making or you can come along and scrap.

This week we are making a box of cards to give away for gifts, with Christmas around the corner its a great time to begin.  You have a choice of a bright set or neutral set. Box is included. Cost $20

                                                        

   

   19/9 ~ FRIDAY ~ Tea for Two - using Kaisercraft range of delightful pinks, blues and reds with a dash of lime green. Join Jacquie and learn how to master the new Martha Stewart round punch system. Jacquie has fallen in love with these new punches and they are great to watch and see how they work.  You will need a 5" x 7" Landscape photo, your basic tool kit but don't forget your fussy cutting scissors!  Jacquie used a photo of us at St. Mary's High Tea so will suit a range of themes. Session times are 10.30am or 7pm. Cost is $20.

October Copics Workshop.

An update on the upcoming Copics workshops a sneak peek of the cards we will be making and a list of the colours I have used!

Saturday the 12th October, 

Two classes- 9am and 12.30pm

A retake of the star Luka card, using Kaisercraft Take Note Collection.  Paper piecing on some of the image too- less colouring-lol!!

The 2nd card is using SU's Pleasant Poppies set, a gorgeous image to colour.

Depending on the availability of the papers, the backing paper could be a different colours, but will still co-ordinate with the blue in the poppies.

The colours I have used in both projects are:

E000, E00, E11, E21, E33, E40, E41, E43

R02

YR20, YR31

Y21, Y35, Y38

YG63, YG67, YG91, 

BG93

B23, B32, B45,B60, B93

If you are wanting to purchase any of the colours, drop Di an email (at least 2 weeks before the class) and she can place the order to avoid disappointment on the 12th.

Remember the colour choice is totally up to you, mine is only a suggestion! 

Please bring along to the class,  your:

• Paper trimmer
• fussy cutting scissors
• ruler
• scalpel or blade 
• double sided tape
• Foam tape
• Copic Markers - if you have some, (please make sure they are labelled)
• As always your Passion for colouring!

As always the colours are changeable, you can colour with any combination you wish!

Hello Scrapping Friends!

On Friday we will be learning how to use FABRIC on our pages! I know that sometimes I see some fabric that I would just love to use on a page but wasn't sure how to include it. So now we have the answer as well as using some of the great papers from this range. I have used a black and white 7" x 5" landscape photo of my Mum as a teenager but the colours lend themselves to lots of different uses.
As well as your photo you will need
1. usual kit of trimmer, fussy cutting scissors, ds tape, foam dots, ruler, pencil, distressing tool etc.
2. sponges for inking edges
3. black marker pen
4. Helmar Scrap Dots in tube if you have some
5. Brown pearls
We will also be using Distress Inks... Evergreen Bough and Rusty Hinge, Stampin Up top note die and bird builder punch, Versafine Onyx black. These ink pads will be available for use on the day so don't worry if you don't have them.

Kaisercraft's Basecoat Class 6th September, 2013

Hi Ladies,
This week we have a Masculine page for you using Kaisercraft's Basecoat.
We will be using some Spellbinders and Tim Holtz dies as well as punches.
You will need to bring a 4" x 6" landscape photo, your usual scrapping tools such as a trimmer,
Scissors, doubled sided and foam tape, Helmar 450 glue, ruler and black journaling pen.
Can you also bring your Stampin up Antique buttons with you if you have them?
