February 15th Copics Workshops

Happy new year to you all, hope you are all geared up for another fabulous year of colouring!

Our 1st workshop for 2014

Saturday the 15th February

Two classes- 9am and 12.30pm

Firstly a favourite of mine, Daisy Faerie Marci teamed up with Simple Stories 'Vintage Bliss' range of papers.

Next up is a super cutie, with Penny Black Hedgies.

there is no sentiment included on this card, making it suitable for a variety of occasions, Wedding, engagement, love........

Also using papers from the same simple stories range.

The colours I have used in the projects are:

Remember the colour choice is totally up to you, mine is only a suggestion! 
As always the colours are changeable, you can colour with any combination you wish!

Please bring along to the class,  your:

• Paper trimmer
• fussy cutting scissors
• ruler
• scalpel or blade 
• double sided tape
• Foam tape
• Copic Markers - if you have some, (please make sure they are labelled)
• As always your Passion for colouring!

Narelle's Simple Stories 'Take a hike' class- May 31st

Hi everyone!

Here's the sneak-peaks you've all been waiting for.... my Simple Stories "Take a Hike" class for Friday May 31st.  

In this class I'll be showing how to use the MFT die-namics button-border.  We'll be able to take orders for these for if you find that you fall in love with it as much as I have when you start using it! 

The class will be run at 10.30am and again at 7.00pm.  When you contact Di to make your booking please let her know which class you would like to attend!

Narelle' Workshop- 7th September

Hello lovely ladies!

This Friday, 7th September is the final in our 3 part series using the Simple Stories "Awesome" and "Fabulous" papers, at 10.30am and 7.00pm.

For the class, you will need to bring the following:-

• Your Simple Stores paper pack and embellishments from the last class.
• Paper trimmer and scissors
• double sided tape
• foam tape 
• Quick drying strong glue-  helmar 450 is perfect
• Mid-brown ink (I have used Tim Holtz Distress ink in"Brushed Corduroy" )
• A 5x7' Portrait orientation photo 

We'll be creating a mini album that slips into a pocket on the layout.  The mini album can take lots of little photos, which I suggest you print and add after the class.

Narelle's workshop- 3rd August

Hello lovely ladies!

This Friday, 3rd of August is the second in our 3 part series using the Simple Stories "Awesome" and "Fabulous" papers, at 10.30am and 7.00pm.

For the class, you will need to bring the following:-

• Your Simple Stores paper pack and embellishments from the last class.
• Paper trimmer and scissors
• double sided tape
• foam tape (or corrugated cardstock for mounting)
• Quick drying strong glue-  helmar 450 is perfect
• Mid-brown ink (I have used Tim Holtz Distress ink in"Brushed Corduroy" )
• A collection of photos that can be trimmed to measure 9 - 10cm high, and cover a width of 20-30cm on each side of the page (eg you could use a total of 4 landscape photos that are 10x15cm, or a combination of landscape and portrait photos)

I'm looking forward to showing you the sample for the last class too!

Narelle's Workshop- 20th July

Greetings everyone!

Friday 20th July is the start of my next set of 3 workshops, using the simple stories "Awesome" and "Fabulous" layouts

For the class, you will need to bring the following:-

• Paper trimmer and scissors
• double sided tape, 
• foam tape (or a small amount of corrugated cardstock for mounting)
• Quick drying strong glue-  helmar 450 is perfect
• Mid-brown ink (I have used Tim Holtz Distress ink in"Brushed Corduroy" )
• A 6x4 Portrait orientation photo
• If you have a set of the 2Crafty chipboard scalloped circles please bring it along to trace around! (No stress if you dont-  you can share mine!)

You'll have a full set of alphabet stickers, so you can change the title to suit your photo "My Dad","My Mum", "My Boy", "Love You"..... anything short-ish that will fit on the title block.

"My Guy” or “My Girl”  single Layout

Narelle's "Simple Stories" workshops

Greetings everyone!


I am currently working on creating a new series of workshops for you, in either a boy or girl theme,  using the Simple Stories "Awesome" or "Fabulous" range of papers.  These kits suit layouts of children, teens or adults, and I will be teaching 3 workshops which will use the papers from the kit, and just a few extras such as cardstock, twine etc.

We'll need to order the stock in, so please email Di (dismale@bigpond.com.au) to book your spot, and let her know whether you want the boy kit "awesome" or the girl kit "Fabulous".  You'll need a mid brown ink, and I have used Tim Holtz Distress ink "Brushed corduroy", so let Di know if you need one of those when you book in.  


Workshop dates are as follows, and I'll share the sneak peaks on the blog with you as soon as I have completed each of the projects!  Once the sneak peaks are on the blog you can pop in to the shop to see the full layouts.
