NEW COPIC MARKER BEGINNERS CLASS COMMENCING 

THIS FRIDAY, 25TH MAY

We are commencing a new Copic Beginners Class for those who would like to find out more about what these markers can do. The Beginners course consists of 3 classes which will give you an understanding of how to use the markers correctly, what effects can be achieved with the markers and how to select your colours to achieve the effect you want. 

All materials are supplied and included in your class fee, $20.

Copic markers are also supplied for the Beginners class so you can decide whether these markers are something you would like to develop.

If you have been thinking about finding out about these popular markers then book into our next Beginners Class on Friday, 25th May at 7pm.

The second has a vintage feel, again using one of the fabulous new flourishes images

For those who would like a little less colouring, the following 2 images could replace the ones above!

We are happy to offer an alternative, however the packs will be made up with the top 2 images, unless you let Di know you would like to use one of the alternatives, 

strictly by Monday the 21st of May

"A Time to Remember..."

Lyn has used a white sheet of cardstock to create her background paper and with the use of Distress Inks, stamps and Kaiser's new Timeless papers she has designed a lovely Heritage / Vintage look suitable for a range of photo's from Heritage family to modern day photo in colour.  You can even add your photo later.

Cost is $12 for the class and $6.00 for the Kit.

Photo size is 5" x 7" 

Photo colour can be colour, sepia or black & white

Requirements ... Basic Tool kit making sure you have trimmer, foam dots & tapes, double sided tape, scissors for fussy cutting and wet glue.

New Kid's Class to Start Up

Scraphaven runs a Kid's Class every Friday @ 3.45pm to 5.45pm.

This class has been full now for some time.

l have had enquiries about starting up another one, 

so this is the year of branching out.

The new class will be on Thursdays @ 3.45 to 5.45pm.

Cost is $12 per session.

Copics Workshop -Sneak Peeks

Hello All, hope your week has started off with a bang!
Our next Copics workshop is on Saturday the 5th of May

 we will be running 2 copics workshops: 

9.30am -12.00pm

 12.30pm - 3.00pm


Both classes will be completing the same project, each class will be limited to 10 participants

For this workshop we will be working with another way to use Copic markers as we haven't before, colouring on Kraft cardstock
The 1st is using an AnnaBelle's stamps image, bright and bold colours!

The second is a La La Land Stamps, Luka!
If you are not into riding on the wild side with this Luka, I will have an alternative image for you colour.
We will also be making and colouring our own pavement with this image too!

If you have a Copic Multi Liner please bring it along (labelled of course!), if not there will be some on hand

I will supply suggested colours for you to use on these projects, but as always the colour choice and selection will be yours!

Narelle's Upcoming Workshops

Greetings everyone!

I have a new class designed for you-  and this one is something completely different!  It's a layout that really pops!

Using the new Echo Park Birthday papers I have designed a boy and girl birthday page which can be displayed on a shelf as a pop-out, and then placed flat in your album just like a normal layout when you are done!

To see the full layouts, and how they fold flat for your albums you'll need to pop into Scraphaven and have a look!

This class is going to be held at 10.30am and 7.00pm on
Friday June 15th, 2012.

Welcome to Term 2

First Workshop we have for you is a great 2 page Easter Layout using Kaiser "Fine & Sunny", lovely range of fresh colours, just perfect for Easter memories.  Jacquie has incorporated paper distressing, masking using ink, hand sewing and a little bit of fussy cutting. You will use the cuttlebug and punches to complete your Layouts.

Along with your Basic Kit you will be using foam tape, double sided tape, Helmar 450 or Pritt Gel, edge distresser and Sage Versa Color ink. Photo sizes required are one 4" x 6" and two 3" x 4".

BOOK NOW TO RESERVE YOUR PLACE & MATERIALS - have 3 spots left.

a time to refresh and spend time with family & friends.

School holidays are quickly drawing to a close, so again this week will be family time at Scraphaven, where you are welcome to bring along your children or grandchildren and share with them your love of Papercraft.  If anyone would like me to organize some card activities for their young ones please let me know and l shall have materials ready or just come along and do your own thing.
