Narelle's Workshop- 20th July

Greetings everyone!

Friday 20th July is the start of my next set of 3 workshops, using the simple stories "Awesome" and "Fabulous" layouts

For the class, you will need to bring the following:-

• Paper trimmer and scissors
• double sided tape, 
• foam tape (or a small amount of corrugated cardstock for mounting)
• Quick drying strong glue-  helmar 450 is perfect
• Mid-brown ink (I have used Tim Holtz Distress ink in"Brushed Corduroy" )
• A 6x4 Portrait orientation photo
• If you have a set of the 2Crafty chipboard scalloped circles please bring it along to trace around! (No stress if you dont-  you can share mine!)

You'll have a full set of alphabet stickers, so you can change the title to suit your photo "My Dad","My Mum", "My Boy", "Love You"..... anything short-ish that will fit on the title block.

Christmas in July!

July is a great month to make a start on your hand made Christmas cards & gifts for your family & friends, it's so cold outside, so it makes sense to stay warm inside crafting!

Join us this Friday and make a start on your Christmas cards, bring your own supplies & ideas or join me for some quick and easy cards to get your stash growing in time for Christmas 2012.  Last week we made 8 quick cards, design #1 and this week l have another quick design #2 for you to copy or if you would like one with more detail then l have a version for you as well.  

Cost is $15 for 3 different designs, $14.50 for 3 same design or buy the supplies used and make as many  as you need.  Please book by Thursday as l will have supplies prepared for you so you can get to and make those cards quickly.  If you missed last week and would like to do those, just let me know.

End of Term 2

Let's celebrate this week - it's Family Night this Friday, 29th June with Pizza!

Kid's class this week begins early at 2.45pm (due to early dismissal from school)

Scrap 'n' Chat ~ 10am & 6.30pm ~ $6 per person

Pizza at 6 pm ~ just let me know if you are joining us (no later than 5pm). 

Pizza will be ready to eat at 6pm.

Copic Beginners Class # 2 ~ at 7 pm with Sue.

This class is for everyone who has completed the first copic lesson.

We will be continuing to build on the Copic skills learned in the 1st workshop

Perfectly coordinating your cardstock with your copics

Little Monster is back as well, but we will be using the matching Die, no more cutting!!!!!

If you are wanting a little more colouring you can replace the Monster image above with this one.  Unfortunately this one doesnt come with a matching die, so make sure you bring along your fussy cutting scissors-lol!

 Suggested colours for you to use on these projects, but as always the colour choice and selection will be yours!

Narelle's "Simple Stories" workshops

Greetings everyone!


I am currently working on creating a new series of workshops for you, in either a boy or girl theme,  using the Simple Stories "Awesome" or "Fabulous" range of papers.  These kits suit layouts of children, teens or adults, and I will be teaching 3 workshops which will use the papers from the kit, and just a few extras such as cardstock, twine etc.

We'll need to order the stock in, so please email Di (dismale@bigpond.com.au) to book your spot, and let her know whether you want the boy kit "awesome" or the girl kit "Fabulous".  You'll need a mid brown ink, and I have used Tim Holtz Distress ink "Brushed corduroy", so let Di know if you need one of those when you book in.  


Workshop dates are as follows, and I'll share the sneak peaks on the blog with you as soon as I have completed each of the projects!  Once the sneak peaks are on the blog you can pop in to the shop to see the full layouts.

NEW OPENING TIMES

NEW KID'S CLASS TO START ~ THURSDAY'S at 3.45pm to 5.45pm ~ Cost is $12 per student.
Have 4 keen and eager ones ready to start but we need at least 7 or 8 to make it viable so if you know of anyone looking for a craft class for their children, then please pass on the details.  Friday's Kid's class is still fully booked.

OPEN ~ TUESDAY / THURSDAY AFTERNOONS? 
If there is any interest for these days please let me know.  Maybe you have a group of friends who would like to come together on a particular day and time then let me know and we can arrange it.
If there is a need for another Card class, or a particular class you are needing to have repeated then let me know and we can arrange a suitable time.  May to be shown a BTP project, then let me know.

I have a new class designed for you - and this one is something completely different!  

It's a layout that really pops!

Using the new Echo Park Birthday papers I have designed a boy and girl birthday page which can be displayed on a shelf as a pop-out, and then placed flat in your album just like a normal layout when you are done!

To see the full layouts, and how they fold flat for your albums you'll need to pop into Scraphaven and have a look!

This class is going to be held at 10.30am and 7.00pm onFriday June 15th, 2012.

Driveway has begun!

Our new driveway has begun so please enter from the Brook Street entrance through the white gates and drive past the Church to the Carpark.

Long Week-end

Wishing everyone a happy and safe Long Week-end what ever you may be doing!

Shop is open so why not pack up those projects and pop along to join us.

Scrap'n'Chat ~ 10.30am or 6.30pm ~ $6 per person - bring along your own projects and join us for a hot cuppa and something delicious to eat, get inspired by others or inspire others around you.

Card making ~ 10.30am & 7pm ~ $12 plus supplies - come and get a pattern to fold butterflies and create some lovely cards.

Can't stay and join us then pop in and collect supplies for the Long Week-end which looks like a great time to stay warm indoors and what better way to spend it but scrapping your favourite photo or making some lovely cards to give to your loved ones.
