Hi ladies,

This week we continue with our Authentique Suave packs. I have a double page layout for using what papers you have left. You will need your usual tools and foam tape. We will be also doing some stamping and using a Tim Holtz Rosette Die. 

I have used 2 x portrait 4" x 6",

2 x landscape 4" x 6", 1 x landscape 4" x 3" and 3 x 2" x 2" photos. 

A few can't make it this Friday or have missed a previous class so we are planning a catch up day soon. Here is a sneak and don't forget to bring your packs along.

Had so much fun this week end collecting items for my Shoebox, thought l should check how l was going before it turned into many boxes!

THANK YOU so much to those who have already donated boxes and returned them, we have till Friday, 17th October to have them handed in. We have 20 boxes already from Scraphaven so if you would like to join us in this fun program it's not too late, just let me know and l will drop a box off for you.  Such a fun way to bring some joy and love to those children in need this Christmas!

There is a toaster and a microwave for your use or eateries close by.

Hi ladies we have a class coming up for you using the Kaisercraft Mr Fox range.
They are very masculine in colour so it's perfect for a Father's Day photo or that special guy in your life. We will be doing something creative with some small squares. 

I have used one 4" x 6" landscape photo on the page and decorated the page with the matching Mr Fox sticker sheet by Kaisercraft.

You will need your usual tools, trimmer, scissors, ruler, pencil, double sided tape and foam tape.

Hi to all Supporters of Scraphaven,

For quite some years now l have been assisting Samaritan's Purse with their 

Christmas Shoebox appeal.

It is a fun project for families to do.

It really is very simple and very satisfying.

All you have to do is collect a Printed shoebox and leaflet from me this Friday for 50c.

Then take the family out shopping to pick some items off the list provided, for a child.

You choose the age and sex of the child so your items are age appropriate.

The only hard thing is trying to fit all your chosen items into the box because once you start you just can't stop picking up an extra one or two.  If you would like to assist with the postage cost as well, that would be fantastic but not compulsory.  You can now track your box so you know which country it arrives in.  There a few items we are asked not to put it, which are listed on your leaflet.  Also on the leaflet is a tag for you to stick on the front lid of your box showing the age and sex of the child you are supporting. All packaging of your items have been asked to be removed as most countries struggle with waste products.  It is a good idea to place your items in a drawstring bag or a plastic Ziplock bag so your items do not fall out.  All boxes must remain unsealed for Inspections.

For those who have participated before, already know how rewarding and enjoyable this project is.

You do not need to spend a lot of money to make one little Orphan very happy this year!

We have so many $2 shops that you can fill your box with loads of fun things for a little one not quite as fortunate as our own .  So if you would like to participate this year just let me know and l will have the boxes ready for you.

Their will be a Special Presentation of the Boxes in our Church, St. Andrew's Uniting 

on  Sunday, 19th October

All are welcome to attend.

Thank you for your support in this wonderful project.

Please note there are many different institutions from our local Churches, Schools, Just Planet, Probus and of course Scraphaven plus many more getting behind this project.

We are doing a double layout using some border punches, Memory Box dies 

and using circles a new way. 

I used 4 landscape photos 4" x 6". 

You will need your usual tools, trimmer, scissors, double sided tape, Helmar 450 glue, a quilling tool if you have one to make the flowers, a pencil, ruler, foam tape or squares and don't forget your packs.

Photos-  This Layout can probably be adjusted to suit whatever you bring along!  My samples both have a 5x7 portrait photo, a 6x4 Landscape photo and 3-4 wallet sized photos.

Join Lyn @ 10.30am or 7pm for a fun filled layout using Kraft, white card stock, some Tim Holtz Bronze distress paint & Archival ink to make an embellishment for the page, very simple to create but so effective! Use some lovely Memory box dies to create this interesting Mono chromatic layout which would suit a range of photo's. The size photo used in this Layout is a 5 x 7 coloured image.

Bring along your usual kit, including a black fine line pen and don't forget your trimmer.

Special Saturday Scrapping- Must book by 15/8/14

Hello lovely Ladies!

I wanted to try something a little different for you, and give you the chance to spend an entire day with me on Saturday November 8th. scrapping up a storm and completing 4 gorgeous layouts in the one day!

These layouts are all created from the one pack of gorgeous Bo Bunny "Primrose" paper, and the only extras you'll need are some Tim Holtz ink in "Brushed Corduroy" and "Old Paper".  The kits cost approx $25.00, which we'll need you to pay for when you book in to the class now, and the rest of the cost of the day (class  costs and morning and afternoon tea etc) will probably be another $40.00 approx which will be confirmed closer to the class date and paid on the day- but represent a significant saving to what it would normally cost if we ran the classes over 4 weeks.

The papers are in shades of brown, pink, green and white and would be suitable for all sorts of photos-  women, vintage, family, little girls. deb, wedding, teens.......... most of the layouts could also have photos added later if required.

If you would like to treat yourself to a day of scrapping and go home with 4 layouts complete in the one day then please contact Di by Friday August 15th to reserve your kit. • Ink- Charcoal/Grey (I used Tim Holtz "Pumice Stone"
• Cereal Box to go in-between layers to create dimension (or purchase a sheet of thick cardstock on the day)
