Hi Ladies,

This week we are continuing with the third part of our series of zoo pages using  Kaisercraft's "Into The Wild Collection."

We will be cutting leaves and a tag with dies and your will need to bring your foam tape. 

I used one 4" x 6" landscape photo on the first page and one 4" x 6" landscape and one 4" x 5" landscape photo on the second page. 

We will have one more class to do in our series.

Scrap'n'Chat ~ 10am & 7pm ~ $6 per session

Pop up Calendars and Post it note sets

10.30am & 7.30pm

$12 plus materials you purchase

This is a great class to make all those small tokens you like to give to groups that you catch up with at Christmas time, suitable for school teachers, swimming teachers, the next door neighbour, Postman or just for fun, to have one for yourself to keep near the phone when you need to know the date and take a note!

Bring along your basic kit but also you can bring your own post-it notes and bits and pieces for decorations. For those who don't have supplies there will be a small selection for sale. The mini calendars are 30c each, they come in white or Kraft. There will be a selection of precut bases for you to purchase. If bringing your own Post-it notes keep in mind what colour you have as you will need 

co-ordinating papers & embellishments to decorate with. I have tried to make this as simple as, so you can hopefully complete your list of gift giving for these little cuties, so make sure you work out how many you need as l will be sending back the excess calendars as they have 2016 on them.  Office works has a wide range of plain coloured sticky notes, some $2 shops have a multi pack of coloured sticky notes as does the Reject Shop and l found some fancy printed ones and Kraft ones from Dasio. Hope this will help you on your way to be prepared this Christmas!

This month we still have some Zoo pages to complete and we will also be using the new "Time Machine" papers, great for Men/boy pages and even can be used for female pages.

Friday, 4th September

This is the first of our "Time Machine" layouts, just ready for Father's Day or a favourite photo of that special guy in your life. Let me know if you would like a full or half pack of this range. We will be using the pack, the collectables and special additional papers. If you do all 4 Workshops it works out cheaper than only doing one of the Layouts.  You will need your basic kit plus black distress ink and vintage photo distress ink.

Next Friday ... We will be making cute little calendars with a post it note as well. These make great gifts when getting together with groups of friends this Christmas, great for Teacher gifts or just make one for yourself and keep it by the phone. They will fit easily into a standard C6 envelope if you need to post a little thought this Christmas.

To help you fulfil your list l have designed a quick simple sketch that can be repeated over and over using different papers to change the look ~ Vintage Christmas, Bright Christmas, Traditional Christmas, Religious Christmas 

To also help you use up your supply of Christmas papers you can can pre-cut your left overs so that you have a head start

to getting your list completed in time! So look in your supplies for suitable smaller prints and have them already cut to size or you could cut up preloved Christmas cards.

Here is what you will need to bring with you ..

Please note if you do not have your own supplies then there will be papers for you to purchase.

*score board or steel ruler & scorer

*grey pencil, steel ruler, eraser

* glues, tapes & foam pop ups

Distressed inks ~ I have used Tim Holtz Vintage Photo for the Vintage cards, Kaiser red & green cube ink

* Sander

* Kindy glitz, liquid pearls, assorted rhinestones and pearls

* any small Christmas embellishments you have or buttons

* Christmas papers cut to size

* base cards made from 12" X 12"

Each card is 6" x 4", will fit into a C6 envelope

Patterned Paper Front panels

The measurement for each front panel is as follows ...

(There are two panels of the sizes below for each card front)

Patterned paper ...  3 & 3/4" (height) x 2 & 3/4" (width) times 2

(They do not have to be the same paper, they can be different)

If you would like to double mat your front panels, then your measurements will be as follows ...

A single layout using crackle paste, butterfly stencil, Kaisermist, 

throw in some embossed clouds, handmade roses 

and some stitching on a piece of speciality card stock 

from Kaiser's Secret Garden range.

A fun layout to suit any photo's you have, have fun and play with the different mediums to create a whimsical, unique one off page for you to make and display of a treasured memory.
