Helmar Step 1 and 2 Crackle medium Tonight!!!

When I just finished a project with my beloved Helmar Crackle I am always asked how it works SO I have decided to run a little demo tomorrow night over at Scraphaven.

The demo will run for about 10 minutes and will commence promptly at 6:45pm.

This will be followed by my class which is decorating some cute noodle boxes (see the post below) and a layout class run by Narelle.

Along with the demo, Di will be having a pre-order special on the Helmar Step 1 and 2 Crackle at $5.50 each.  This is over a dollar off the recommended retail price!

There are still a couple of spots available in my noodle box class, but be quick as there isn't much time left to book in.

Christmas Noodle Boxes with Beck Beattie

Next Friday 25th November I will be teaching these cute little Noodle Boxes ready to give as Christmas gifts.  As the 12 crop is not going ahead, we have moved this class back to the Friday night.

In the class you will be completing these 3 cute little noodle boxes using beautiful traditionally coloured Christmas papers by Echo Park, Spellbinders dies and some cute embellishments to finish them off.

The class will commence at 7:30pm - giving people (and me!) plenty of time to get there

The cost of the class is:  $10 plus materials

We will be working on layering techniques and the correct use of different glues in this class.  I will also be sharing tips on designing your own projects.

You will need to bring along the following along to the class:
  • Ruler and craft knife
  • Pencil & Eraser
  • Red ink pad – I used Versa in Cardinal
  • Foam squares or dots
  • Helmar 450 glue (or alternative fabric glue)

We will also be using these products so you may like to bring your own along if you have them:

Kaisercraft Party Animals Class

Hi everyone- Narelle here!

This coming Friday (September 9th) I'll be starting my 2 week "Party Animals" class.
If you have booked into the class, you'll hopefully have received a sheet of the Kaisercraft "Chuckle" specialty paper. Your "homework" is to cut all the animals and tents from this sheet of paper (we only need 1 monkey, and you dont need to worry about the little balls etc). Dont get too panicked if you accidentally cut a tail off- we can tuck him behind and no one will know the difference!

For the first week's class, you will need to bring a 6x4 landscape and 3x2 landscape photo, or a 6x4 or 5x7 portrait photo. You'll have a full alphabet set so you can make the title anything you like (mine is "King of the jungle").

If you have some, bring along your Helmar scrapdots or purchase some at the class, along with your basic toolkit and foam tapes.

On Friday 16th September you'll need to bring along all the same things and a 4x6 portrait photo

Looking forward to seeing you there, and if you have any questions just leave a comment and I'll get back to you.
Blessings,

Narelle xoxoxox
