Hi Ladies,

This week I have done a Christmas page for you. You can use a photo that you have taken from a previous year or you can easily add a photo from this Christmas. 

I have used the Kaisercraft Yuletide  collection. 

You will need your usual Basic kit. The photo size is 4"x 6" landscape.

What's happening at Scraphaven ...

Hello Scrapping Friends!

I thought that this little album would make a good Christmas gift for someone who likes to take photos  during the festive season.

It is designed for normal 6 x 4 landscape photos but some places could use slightly smaller.

We will only be making the base album on the day as this is an important part of the whole process!

An early starting time is needed so 9.30 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. (If you can make it!)

I will have some decorating suggestions for you but these will probably need to be done at home.

We will be using the lovely Christmas papers by FabScraps and you will have plenty to finish off your album.

You will need to bring along the following if you have them,

Distress inks - Peeled Paint, Aged Mahogany, your favourite brown, black soot.

Ink daubers or sponges for edging

Steel ruler and craft knife for cutting through cardboard for the cover.

Strong double sided tape (I used the sticky red backed one)

Normal kit including scissors, glue stick if you prefer that, pencil, trimmer, ruler.

Sanding block.

There are lots of gorgeous layers and bright colours to play with, a card to melt your heart!

 

Our 2nd project is a Gift bag adorned with these funky little Christmas trees

Hopefully these little snippets has tickled your fancy and got you inspired to colour!


If you would like an extra pack or two to give as Christmas gifts, just email Di and we will have them ready for you

Paper Bag Christmas album with Lyn on 5th December

Hello Scrapping Friends!

I thought that this little album would make a good Christmas gift for someone who likes to take photos  during the festive season.

Christmas Breakup

We kick the week off with some delightful Christmas Step cards.

All the hard work is done for you using Cheery Lyn's Step card die, 

Kaisercraft's already printed Christmas scenes and a few embellishments and you are done!

31/10 ~ Halloween Challenge Night ~ $10

Join is some scary fun, with a game of Tic Tac Toe.

Challenge yourself by creating a card or a Layout using some colours of Halloween, be treated to some Halloween goodies!

Ever eaten spiders?

Your layout or card does not have to be of halloween theme, we are just using the colours of halloween for a bit of fun and a challenge, so gather your friends and make a fun night of it!

Each participant that books in will receive a Surprise gift bag to help you on your way to create an interesting Layout or card set.  Please do not be put off with the Theme Halloween, we are just using the colours & fun side of it, so come along and give it a go, BOO.OOO. K  IN NOW!
