Kaisercraft True Romance layout Part 2 ~ 2nd August

Hi ladies,
This coming week at Scraphaven we are using the lovely True Romance range again.
We will be using Martha Stewart punches and adding some Green Tara heart trim and flowers.

You will need 1 photo for this layout, l have used a 5" x 5" photo but you could use a standard
4" x 6" landscape photo. Also you will need your usual scrapbooking tools plus double sided tape, foam tape and Helmar 450 glue.

Saturday's Copics Workshops

An update on the upcoming Copics workshops this Saturday, a sneak peek of the cards we will be making and a list of the colours I have used!

Remember the colour choice is totally up to you, mine is only a suggestion!

Scraphaven Open this Tuesday

Join us for some lovely cards for that Special loved one.

Cost is $20 with all materials supplied just bring along your Basic kit, 

with trimmer, glues and foam pop ups.

This week we are using Kaiser's "75c Range" Sticker sheet.

We will be making Step cards tomorrow, 

below are others that l have made from the same range.

This class will run over a few weeks so you can you can use all of the stickers.

Class is commencing at 10am on Tuesday, 23rd July, contact me if you require a Friday class.

Scrap'n'Chat is also available from 10am to 3.30pm.

It's beginning to look a like like Christmas !

Now the year is flying by far too quickly as we approach the end of July, so this Friday 26th July

Lyn's has a Kit made up for you consisting of 4 different Christmas cards that you can make up and then decide which design you would like to make more of.

Class & Kit is $20.

You will need to book in early to avoid disappointment as there are limited kits available

and Lyn will need time to prepare your kits in readiness for Friday.

Class times are 10.30am & 7pm

It's been so cold lately which makes it a perfect time to make a start on those Christmas cards which will leave you more time for Christmas Cheer when Christmas rolls along.

This is a trail run to see if anybody is interested in dropping by on a Tuesday.

This Friday at Scraphaven we are doing a very pretty layout. I have used wedding photos as my wedding photos matched the paper perfectly but you can use any girly photos that match the range. We will be using Spellbinders and MFT dies on the layout and making our own lovely roses. There is also a little hand stitching on the heart. 

You will need 2 photos and your usual scrapping tools, some double sided tape and foam and some Helmar 450 glue for making the roses.

Lyn's "Needle and Thread" Page on 12th July

Hello Scrapping Friends

On this page you will find lots of things to do with sewing! This paper was a delight to work with and I have used a  7"x5" landscape photo of a cloth doll that my mother made for me. You could use any female type photo which would look charming. We will be using MFT dies to cut the dress forms, cotton reels etc. I find these are great on cards - such a good size!

If you have them please bring along the following-

Distress Ink Victorian Velvet, any light and dark brown ink. I used Stampin Up Chocolate Brown and Versamark Umber ( one of my favourites that I have used in class before)
Sponges for edging with these inks too please.

Foam squares or tape for mounting accents.

Strong liquid glue might be handy. Helmar 450 is a great one

Usual kit of paper trimmer, ruler , pencil, ds tape, scissors etc.

It's Family time this Friday 5th July & next Friday 12th July

Hello All!!
  An update with some details for our next Copic classes

Next Friday 28th May- Beginners #2

There are still some places for Saturday's 12.30 session, if you want to reserve your place contact Di, her number is at the bottom of the post!

If you can't make it and  would like any additional packs from the  workshop let Di know by Monday (24th June) and I will make up an extra one for you.

In The Attic Vintage page 21st June

Come join us using Kaisercraft's "In The Attic"Range for a Vintage style layout.
We will be using some lovely Green Tara flowers and making one from scratch using a MFT die cut. spellbinders leaf die cut and making great use of Martha Stewart Round the Page punches.  If you like these punches contact Di ( dismale@bigpond.com.au) to order them in for you, they cost around $44 for each pair.

Poppies are all the rage in the scrapping world at the moment and this page features them "big time". We will be using cutout and stamps of these versatile flowers. Did you notice the gorgeous ribbon flowers? They are so easy to make we will have them done in no time and you can use them on cards as well as pages. Not too bulky! And, you can make them any size you want.

Pop into the shop to view the rest of the Layout.

In Class we will need ...
-usual kit of trimmer, scissors, double sided tape, foam squares and tape, ruler etc
- Distress Inks  " Fired Brick" and " Gathered Twig" .
   (If you don't have these there will be ink pads to use)
- extra sticky double sided tape. Di sells the red backed one which is perfect.
- brown marker pen ( we have these in stock for you to purchase)
- 7" x 5" landscape photo

Friday's Workshop

This week at Scraphaven we are all thinking of Narelle and sending her our prayers and well wishes on her road to recovery. 

I have had a request for some Kinder pages so I have come up with a design. I used the Summer Breeze collection by Kaiser but bring in your photos and we will match some suitable paper to your photos. I have used a 5x7 class photo and 2 portrait 5x7 photos. 

The design can be made for girls or boys by substituting a couple of items.

Class this Friday 31st May 2013

Hi Ladies this week we are doing a double layout using the Kaisercraft Hopscotch range.
We will be using some MFT and Spellbinders dies, a Martha Stewart punch and washi tape.
You will need to bring 2 portrait 4" x 6" photos and 1 landscape 4 x 6 photo.
You will also need the usual tools: Trimmer, ruler, pencil, double sided tape, foam tape and a black journal pen.
